Mitch McConnell is the single largest, easily identifiable problem Trump has right now.
The GOP has to stand up and do something about this guy, or they are just admitting to their own impotence.

That's exactly why he needs to resign as Senate Majority Leader! If Mitch doesn't sabotage Trump's re-election, then Trump should play the Trump card during his second term and have Mitch and his wife removed from office as a national security threat.
The problem is all the compromised parties are brought to justice of trump wins, they leave with cash and freedom if he looses. Any Republican who votes against trump without hood reason is likely compromised. There is no other explanation that makes sense.

But Mitch has been wheeling and dealing the negotiated deals between the House and Senate and actually has a pretty good record for reading the congressional voting apparatus. Perhaps he sees that if House members contest state electors it must happen before Pence accepts or rejects the presented electors and would then require a 2 hour debate followed by a vote in the democratically held House which would surely fail. But if no protest is lodged, Pence could refuse to accept the certified electors on the grounds of fraud and accept the GOP electors on the basis of his own judgement or even decline to accept any electors from the states with dual slates which would result in neither candidate receiving sufficient votes thereby putting the election in the hands of Congress with one vote per state based on party lines.
Mitch has betrayed Trump! He needs to resign his post.
