She also gave nursing homes immunity from any lawsuits covid related when she did it, like Cuomo did, and the other governors probably did.

Reminder: They started this a WEEK after the numbers from Italy showed us what we now know. Old people with multiple health issues were almost exclusively susceptible.
Cuomo order began March 25th. Whitmer's crew put a 20 year old boxer in a nursing home (who attacked residents) because he had COVID.
Elderly are ALWAYS susceptible. Why would you EVER mingle a new disease with them? Trump sent Cuomo field hospitals and converted a Navy ship, but Cuomo felt it better to "risk" killing old people.

Law enforcement wont do this, the citizens need to get a group together with an attorney or 2 and go in and remove these people under citizens arrest. Stop expecting someone else to do the things that would actually make a difference.

This exists structurally in Charlie Baker's state with the "Governor's Council" which on paper is oversight on the Governor for certain things (Example: pardons and judicial appointments) and was put in place around the start of the USA to have some authority over the governor's office.
In practice, it's mostly a rubberstamp.
It's also an easy way to inflate the numbers and make the virus APPEAR to be more deadly. Introduce it to a population that is dying anyhow, then simply blame the virus when they do die. Without the nursing home deaths, the Covid numbers pale when compared to the flu.

Ontario's Doug Ford too, our military even made a huge report on it. Horrible to read the condition our elderly were left in. A lot of it stems from the "Temporary Foreign Workers" we keep bringing in to work in these nursing homes.
The solution? Make private nursing homes illegal in the entire province.

This is technically misleading. Total nursing home deaths for covid is 40% nationwide according to CDC data. That would mean this meme is implying that these 5 states account for all US nursing home covid deaths. But these governors did contribute generously to that number.
