I am in the military and I will say definitively “we” are actively being shut out of a readiness status for any war. Our leadership is to busy trying to keep us safe from the COVID. It’s really embarrassing to be honest. Now that is the Main forces what Spec Ops and Cyber/Spaceforce is doing is completely different. I will say though if I got a call to go I and a Lot of East Coast Marine Warriors will bring anything needed to DC in short order.
