We ditched this year. I don’t even care if my kids only learn a few math problems and read a book once in a while. They are retaining their faculties because they aren’t being subjected to these mind-numbing mental gymnastics.
Ron Paul has a great home school program that promotes critical thinking and analysis skills and teaches about economics and free markets, with none of the propaganda commie BS. I think it is free on his website.
It's a long ways away, but you'd be suprised how well the average adult can homeschool K-8. I'm sure you're pretty good on American history. Plus, we are in a golden era of history podcasting if you need help with world history. It's Algebra 2 and Trigonometry that are the hardest subjects to homeschool. Any community college can handle the math and science past that.
There are plenty of affordable virtual academies that offer real teachers with one on one tutoring. There are christian academies as well. Be sure they are accredited.

Parents are informed on the information in some way (could be in a bundle of forms when enrolling a student or via phone message) and if you do NOT want your child to participate you have to return a form. It used to be a permission slip was necessary to involve the students, no longer...
It's the fucking teachers unions that oppose this. The teachers are what is preventing my county to reopen classrooms. We are the ONLY county in the state that is not back in school, with no plans to go back. Only 17% of teachers were willing to go back into the classroom. 17%. I'm moving to a different school district and I hope this city burns to the fucking ground. If Trump gets back in office it probably will.
Exactly the fucking teachers won’t open schools it’s all about them and helping them feel safe. Who cares about an entire generation of kids that is forgotten and socially destroyed. I see it everyday it is so sad. Fuck these liberal teacher scumbags.
The teachers in my area are all talking on the computers' built in microphones and speakers, sounding like the mother from the Muppets (wah wah whahhh wah waahhhhh) because they won't spend $20 for a headset or reuse a personal headset from their phone.
It’s a public charter school we won the lotto. Thought we were lucky as the school is “top notch” but feels more like winning the lotto to liberal insanity..no thanks. Her teachers aside from the sweet old lady teaching kindergarten are radical nut jobs you can tell. To top it off they want a $2k donation! For hosting zoom webinars, making us do the real teaching, and making us print everything at home? Might as well homeschool.
