Ron Paul has a great home school program that promotes critical thinking and analysis skills and teaches about economics and free markets, with none of the propaganda commie BS. I think it is free on his website.

Thank you for this. This year is the last straw for me with public education, but I have no idea where to begin with homeschooling.

You’ll figure out a way. Parents always do. It’s what we used to do before we ceded education to Uncle Sam.

I took a look at the curriculum and realized I needed to take the darn course myself! Might be a great way to educate us along with our kids.

It's a long ways away, but you'd be suprised how well the average adult can homeschool K-8. I'm sure you're pretty good on American history. Plus, we are in a golden era of history podcasting if you need help with world history. It's Algebra 2 and Trigonometry that are the hardest subjects to homeschool. Any community college can handle the math and science past that.

Do you have any recommendations? I would love to listen to something other than true crime for a change, but I can't find any good history podcasts that aren't full of the usual liberal white guilt. Everything is told from a revisionist standpoint.

Forget podcasts. Get a used history book from the 1950s.

Best Short Form: Mike Rowe's That's the Way I Heard it.
Best Long Form: Dan Carlin's Hardcore History. Anything before 1950 and he's the best.

Then Mike Duncan's History of Rome is great. The History of China is still ongoing at 200+ episodes and probably has 100 to 150 more episodes to go at least. Same with the History of Byzantium.

Tom Holland's In the Shadow of the Sword applies the same standard historical skepticism toward Islam that the left applies toward Christians and it's a delightful listen. Rubicon is another great work of his

There are plenty of affordable virtual academies that offer real teachers with one on one tutoring. There are christian academies as well. Be sure they are accredited.
