Do you have any recommendations? I would love to listen to something other than true crime for a change, but I can't find any good history podcasts that aren't full of the usual liberal white guilt. Everything is told from a revisionist standpoint.
Best Short Form: Mike Rowe's That's the Way I Heard it.
Best Long Form: Dan Carlin's Hardcore History. Anything before 1950 and he's the best.
Then Mike Duncan's History of Rome is great. The History of China is still ongoing at 200+ episodes and probably has 100 to 150 more episodes to go at least. Same with the History of Byzantium.
Tom Holland's In the Shadow of the Sword applies the same standard historical skepticism toward Islam that the left applies toward Christians and it's a delightful listen. Rubicon is another great work of his
