Knipex pliers are the shit. I have a pair of cutters and adjustable pliers and they were well worth the investment.
I was going to get a hilti but they (at the time) didnt have a 1/4 impact and when I was working at the dealer, 1/4 inch impacts and 3/8ths were king. I got the Makita on sale before christmas, $99 came with tool, battery, charger and bag (brushless too) and I bought a bit set which came in handy as well.
I kinda do the same thing at flea markets and garage sales, I see snap-on, mac, matco, etc I try to buy what I can. Im not wrenching now, but I hope to be soon.

Pliers-wrench changed my life. Adjustable wrench that actually works and you can use them to straighten out or bend sheet metal.
