How does the NG have the authority to stop anyone who is moving between states? I’m not aware of any authority to do so. That’s an easy lawsuit to win.

Just like the Unconstitutional "law" that prevents us from being armed in the seat of our government- the very antithesis of what 2A was written explicitly FOR. All i know is that there were military persons at the gates checking info. If you fly into NY you need to quarantine 4 days if you pass a covid test on the 4th day or 14 days if no test. Wondering if DC has same restrictions.
You absolutely can bring your firearms when you fly. It is easy and I have done it literally hundreds of times. You can bring ammo and likely all of you plate carrier if you desired.
Each state is handling this differently but yes you are right that they will try everything to block people.
Driving is the way to go. Anyone traveling by air is likely going to run into trouble.
There are no commercial airports in DC, 2 in Virginia and 1 in Maryland.

Fly into Richmond International if you're planning on heading to D.C.
Only a 2 hour drive from here and you can stay away from the madness when you leave.

They attempted to block VA from protesting in Richmond, you can earn well believe they will prevent people from protesting in DC.
Maryland issued travel restrictions for everyone traveling in from states other than VA, DC, and PA.
