In 1930s Germany, the fake news (known then as the Lugenpress or "Lying Press") were opposed to Hitler and his nationalist agenda. I don't think there is a clear or effective parallel to make here between the CCP and the NSDAP. But I am quite excited to see whether or not you'll shit your pants because I said so!
