Gulf War Syndrome was caused by anthrax shots. They first told the vets they were con men just out to get a free ride with VA benefits as tens of thousands lay dying in hospital beds of neurological problems and cancers. Then they blamed it on prophylactic nerve agent pills, DU, and oil well fires. The VA still refuses to admit the anthrax vaccines were the primary cause GWS despite mountains of evidence pointing to it.

GWS started in the first Gulf War. Anthrax shots didn’t come out until ‘97.

I think GWS was an exposure issue where troops were exposed to a lot of environmental toxins, ranging from bug repellent treatment on clothing, polluted air, munitions. I do firmly believe that GWS does exist.

I don’t think the Anthrax vaccine was itself dangerous. I think the production was so shoddy that there was no telling what was in each shot. Additionally, the anthrax vaccine was developed for cutaneous exposure in meat packing, not weaponized aerosol. I doubt the vaccine would have been effective.

One side note: DU still is slightly radioactive, just not enough to be considered a danger when in a stable form, of which DU dust is decidedly NOT.

It’s radioactive. The dust is the issue but I tested some Patriot missile warhead exp-uranium “cubes” and...oh yeah.
