My mother was a nurse decades ago. Back then, you couldn't get a degree unless your grades were B+ or higher. Professionalism, compassion and knowledge were the values - and it was very hard work, and often painful, but could be so joyful too. My mother lamented how these days nurses seem to be in a contest for who can be the loudest, dumbest and fattest. The asses grow, the intelligence shrinks. Even the male nurses are bitchy queens. I can't imagine modern nurses getting a B or higher in advanced biology courses, they're too busy getting their nails done and stuffing their faces with junk food.
