I have a nagging suspicion that introducing the flu vaccine 15 or so years ago and then the odd out of place phenomenon out of nowhere mockery of "anti vaccers" on social media and reddit was simply setting the stage for compliance.
It's not that all vaccines are "garbage" in that they don't work. It's about weighing the risk of getting the illness vs the risk of taking the vaccine. Al vaccines have reaction risks, from feeling tired, to giving you mental damage, to death. Or maybe your body has no issues and you just keep on rolling with no effects at all. But the risk is still there. Then you weight the risk of what you're protecting yourself from. Polio? Paralysis is quite a risk if the infection rate is high. Vaccine might be a risk worth taking. But risking a bad reaction just so I MIGHT not get the flu, or just get a milder case of the flu? Risk assessment doesn't check out.
in 1978, the us military (posing as local health boards) advertised in san francisco, NYC, and LA looking for premiscuous gay men to test a Hep-B vaccine. a couple of years later, gay men started dying of AIDS, a new mysterious disease prevalent among gay men. the largest populations of AIDS patients were and still is in those 3 cities. coincidence?
