Yeah, I saw these news another day about the amount of people going hungry and dying due to the lockdown. Every year, 25000 people dye of hunger per day, around the world. This is about 9 million in a year. In 2020, they calculate more 12000 will dye per DAY due to hunger, as consequence of the lockdown. This is much more than those reported as covid deaths.

We live in a wealthy country and the consequences of the lockdown here are not as bad as it is in the poor countries. The food supply chains are broken, the food doesn't even get to many of those places. And even in the richest countries, many more are starving because of the lockdown.

And when we ask to end the lockdown, people say we're being selfish. No, we're not. We're just seeing much farther than they do, with their simplistic view that the lockdown keeps everybody safe.

And they have they audacity to blame people opposed to lockdowns for increased deaths this year, which, if true, are the fault of the authoritarians.
