You may not always be able to buy American but you can also buy electronics from Japan, clothes from Europe, etc. There is literally no kind of product which is ONLY made in China. You always have a choice.
Vietnam is communist government with soldiers on the streets... We can at least give thailand some work since they are a democracy and don't really like china. Also they are a ally who fought vietnam war with us and stopped spread of communism..
Amen! I say embargo Chinese goods. May we never accept another cargo ship from China or registered in China at any port in the US. Also, no products shipped in from Mexico or Canada unless tjey want to start paying 50% tariffs on everything that comes in from their country. Problem solved.
I used Etsy exclusively for Christmas and got beautiful hand made gifts. They are unique, made by small business and arrived on time. Amazon is evil and yes their logo is Supposed to be Jeff Bezos’ penis.

I think what Trump has done with China will be the best long-term solution for our economy. Tax the hell out of them and force them to make good quality products that cannot be created by utilizing slave labor. None of this garbage they normally give us. I hate China, but in an ideal world that is not too far away if we make the right decisions, we can have a good trade relationship with them that doesn't exploit labor and provides benefits to both economies. In the process, Communism would be rooted out of China, because inherently you cannot have a communist government that participates in free-market trading.
