Same. Never had a flu shot in my life. Only had the flu once a decade ago. It wasn’t severe at all. If my work makes me get this, I quit. I’ve been wanting to quit and move to another state for a while anyway.
I never get sick. I do feel I did get Covid this year. Had 2 days of feeling shitty from Jan 3-6. I just stayed home after the New year, slept and ate, and went back to work. Then the hysteria started and I have not worked since because I am in a position to do it (Mini-retirement). I have read of severe Covid patients, 86% of them were regular Flu shot recipients. Makes one wonder?????
Seems illegal to mandate something that hasn’t even finished phase III trials. Even the military isn’t mandating it- that’s a big red flag if ever I saw one.
This. Most employers will not make it mandatory out of fear of lawsuits. If they made you take it and you suffered harmful side effects, you could sue your employer.
They don't want to understand which is so sad. I warned my brother and my sister about it... both are planning on taking it. They think I'm nuts. Nothing I say will convince them otherwise. They just tell me that the news told them everything I'm saying about it being dangerous is false.
I am a first responder and currently the vaccine is optional for us in our location. I would rather not be there and risk suspension or termination than take this mess.
