So true..my 3rd wife (full blood African from Burindi) had 3 kids I adopted. Two very intelligent young daughters and a son who learned English instantly. The oldest daughter told me of some terrible things she'd witnessed. Boiling it all down--she said people were crazy and violent in Africa "because they're hungry." Things get so desperate that they'll sometimes try to eat grass. Even she, as a little girl, had tried to eat grass.
Moving along from this point...there is more than just hunger that drives 'people' to desperation. There is a 'madness' in males that needs to be quenched. Look at the First World War. There was a 'war fever'. Men were exhilarated about the opportunity to go overseas and kill. To be a HERO. why? They weren't hungry; society was looking good with the discovery and implementation of electricity; radio and music gramophones. Plenty of jobs. Why the need to fight in 1914? So its more than just hunger.
People have always been immensely retarded. History only really recorded the smart. That's not the case anymore
If people were smart, tyrants like Hitler, Stalin, Lenin, and Mao would have never come to power
I think starvation (Russia) and having to bring wheel barrow of cash to the store to buy a loaf of bread (Germany) had something to do with it.
