Can we sue politicians for not trying to Stop The Steal?

Earlier this month, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that you can sue government agents when they violate your rights.
Is there any way this ruling could be used to persuade politicians to Stop The Steal?
Interesting. Because we aren't able to vote them out now, apparently. Based on that covid bill, they really have no fear they'd ever be held accountable. Almost like they can just declare themselves the winner each time...
