Walmart, Home Depot and Aldi have a "don't confront" policy. Walmart will offer a mask at the door but I just decline. My problem so far hasn't been with store employees but other shoppers, especially older women without husbands.

Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby don't push it. Costco Nazis do, but they also let people eat without masks. I guess you don't spread covid when you are eating.
Depends on where you are. Small businesses have the most to lose. They cannot afford to fight the government like big box stores.
Just tell them you have a medical condition, they cannot ask you what it is or even if it effects your breathing.
I do not like that part.
If it is a quick in and out at a small business, I am willing to wear the mask to support them being open.
I have 4 walmarts near me, 2 are stringent and 2 are ok. Target near me is hit or miss by the day.

Walmarts around here have guards at the door. HEB as well, and Costco. they will not let you in.
Our Walmart’s don’t hassle you if you don’t wear one.
I know from someone that works there they are told NOT hassle anyone not wearing one.

The only ones I have recently had issues with are Staples and Starbucks
HEB, Home Depot, Kroger, Walmart = good stores. Most larger stores dont give you as much shit
Good restraunts= IHOP, some local traditional mexican restraunts,some arab restraunts
Bad Places= Any small business, chinese restraunts, indian restraunts, a few arab
Best Gyms= Planet Fitness , no one wears masks there. They give you shit when entering but I take it off as soon as I check in right in front of them.
Worst gyms= 24 hr fitness, LA Fitness , Alphalete gym by christian Guzman the turbo simp,( the retards try to enforce the mask policy in the gym)
