I was looking at this earlier today, and I want to point something out:

** I am not claiming that these pictures show the same vehicle **

The dark spot on the side in the daytime pic could be an exhaust vent. It would leave a shadow with the sun overhead. And at night, with streetlights shining from th3 side, the shadow wouldn't be visible.

Again, this is just an observation about that one difference.
