I'm pretty sure that you can't even get a DNA result that fast in a television drama. They probably had it all ready to go when they put his corpse in the RV.
It's 50/50 even with the explosion there are likely bits of his flesh around the area and being that it would be the only flesh in the area it wouldn't be hard to find a toe, or a finger piece laying around the area to use

The Electric Manhole box in front of AT&T blew the fuck up, then the RV about 1 second later.
