Executive cannot line item veto. It was ruled as unconstitutional quite a few years ago, and requires the communist Congress to agree to it.
They can simply say "naw, we aren't going to investigate election fraud and we will just vote no to clarifying or repealing 230" and Trump can't do shit about it.
Additionally, why would Trump even want an investigation done into that by the people who benefit from him not being president?
The whole thing reeks of a bad play, and ultimately that's going to end up with billions going to other countries.
We have tomorrow to see if Congress will even commit to considering his line item vetoes, or completely rejecting his request.
