Exactly. His hands were forced yet he was able to come out of it looking good for the general public. I think the ironic thing is his more fervent supporters may not like it as much but I don't think he needs to worry about losing us. In all honesty, if they actually think about what he did they should realize he did the best he possibly could since congress wants nothing to do with him.
