I think that's the thing, I think Trump thinks, perhaps correctly, that pork(calling this pork is being kind though, as pork at least benefits a home district) and wasteful spending is not the hill to die on right now. It sucks, but it is nothing new. We need to press our reps on this crap, along with January 6th concerns.
No, we need to get rid of the offices. The government has become so bloated and we have lost so many freedoms in ways the founding fathers never anticipated. We do not need congress or the senate. They are unnecessary in today's world.
