So the extra 60 days is a win as it stops the bill for at least that long and gives congress a hard choice to make in front of the American people. Which are the resolution of the main problems with the relief bill .. ie.. All the excess pork ,the section 230 fiasco, and the increase to 2,000 from the 600 for family relief... So, well played Mr. President.
We will have new Congress in Jan. Things can change then as well. Also he will be taking action prior to Jan 20th so let it play out and then see what’s comes of it.

They have to write and pass or deny a rescission bill within 45 days. Guaranteed they will do it in a few hours on Monday morning and then trump will be forced to spend the money as it was written.
If they ignore it, a 45 day clock is the metric. If they write a new rescission bill tomorrow, all they have to do is vote no with a simple majority and the one he signed is enforced.
