I mean I get not doing it in your backyard but why not pick something more symbolic if selecting a target from halfway across the country. I never realized it wiped out records from the Whitewater scandal.
Or a lawyer to drive all the way from Manhattan to California to murder a prominent men's right's lawyer and then drive from there to New Jersey to kill the son of a judge who was to hear a case that was part of the Epstein situation.
