While most of this is correct. It is up to Congress to stand by or remove the pork. So they can have fun publicly standing by the shit everyone hates.

Unfortunately, with a complicit media, they won’t have to say shit. Move along you bigot and put on your mask.

I imagine a month from now the media will look and behave differently than today....

And they should be handled how the Mexican cartels handle journalists.

My understanding is that they have until 12:00 AM Tuesday to fix the bill. Trump has approved it conditionally. They either fix it or the government shuts down. Correct me if I’m wrong.

There weren't very many moves for him to make, unfortunately.

Sign Outright, and look like you're giving up the fight

Veto Outright, and MSM / Congress plays the parade of Trump hating on COVID / unemployed people, removing some hope of normies supporting the Jan 6th+ maneuvers

Or This Move, which delays the poison past Jan 20th, disperses the good parts immediately, and forces Congress to consider Trumps remaining good ideas and take the hit from rejecting them outright.

This move was the best option, and is another reason why pedes cannot jump the gun on 24h rumor mongers who live their entire lives off of clickbait and hype.

This. The only way Trump stops this from fully going through is by lining the national mall with the corpses of traitors before the 45 days is up. Probably also before they vote on removing his IA powers by overriding the NDAA veto.

I agree. It's definitely a controversial move to make, and I ended up posting a new thread just to try giving some understanding on it. I'm not in the room, so I don't have all the info going into it, but I know walking in that this was not a bill Trump wanted to have on his desk at all, and the blame for all of that crap rests solely on Congress.

Show me where it forces them to do shit. He signed the bill. They can just let his wish list vanish. Particularly the rescinding portions. No action in 45 days, means no removal.

NoTimeToBleed 5 points ago +6 / -1

Scanning... nope. It appears the bill is now signed into law. Congress is obligated to do nothing.

Exactly, this is a big loss, people trying to spin this as some kind of win

Considering that Congress is mostly corrupt, Trump did the best that could be done. However this random person's opinion on Twitter is moronic, false, and gets people's hopes up. Particularly about how Congress "must" repeal 230. That's outright false.

No, he failed. He could have not signed the bill and it would have died because congress is over in a few days.

1
everylastjuan 1 point ago +1 / -0

No, he didn't fail. If he thought that was the best course of action, he would have taken it. He may just know something you don't.

I ain;t gonna stay tuned unless that motherfucker looks Pelosi and Schumer dead in the eye and says, "Fuck you, you fucking old motherfucks fucking the country for so fucking long, go fuck yourself with a rusted fucking fencepost and then ask me to sign this bill. Yeah, until that script happens, fuck them all, including Donald J. Trump. ps: DJT, if you read this, grow some FUCKING BALLS AND VETO SHIT.
