He removed the parts he doesn't like and sent it back for a vote.

They've set up this bill as covid relief, and he's turned the trap around on them; they wanted to make it seem he was anti relief, but he's signed it with revisions and bounced it back to them, so if they don't vote for it, they're the anti relief.

I also just realized he extended the pocket veto date having signed it. I don't know if they can get 2/3rds majority and pass it that way though, as if this is a veto for today.

These are all requests, and that is all they are. They might offer more money, about it. In all honesty, he was backed into a corner, and.... I am never a doomer, but this was a shit move, and not a power play. And on a side note, hearing him speak, didn't sound like Trump at all.
