No coughs. No sick people. Just thousands of perfectly healthy people wearing masks and freaking out.

People have lost their minds.

In the hope that my experience will inspire someone here - I haven't worn a mask in Walmart or Kroger for about three months. So far, no one has stopped me, said anything to me, or given me so much as a second look (that I'm aware of). And no, I am not intimidating-looking in the least. I keep an eye out for anyone else who is doing the same, and at most have seen 2 others who aren't wearing masks either. Often I don't see anyone else at all. it's discouraging, but I'm not going to give in.

I noticed the same thing when I was in the grocery store on Christmas eve, and it was packed. I got confronted by one guy even older than me because my mask was pulled down. he was polite as I am female and nearly his age.

Nobody else noticed. But I only saw 2 other people with the mask even half off. Nobody without one.

Yet another reason I am glad to be moving to a mask free zone in a few weeks.
