There are no checkpoints at DCA. I flew out six hours ago.

Off the plane, to baggage claim, to the hotel shuttle. That easy.

This shit simply has zero enforcement except in New York State and even that is just paperwork at the gate when you arrive with health department or national guard and a promise to quarantine. Once you leave the airport there is literally zero enforcement.

Edit: Proof, I smeared the ink writing it but boarding passes are slippery!

Posted from The Hill: "We continue to ask people to limit their travel but we also know people are going to come here and they're more than likely are not going to quarantine for 14 days if they do," Bowser said during a news conference.

Bowser said the city won't be strictly enforcing the rules with checkpoints or other requirements.

Gottlieb: New coronavirus strain 'probably here in the United States' December deadliest month of COVID-19 pandemic “Nobody is going to be asking you at the airport, or on bridges, or roads, or the train station to show your papers," Bowser said.

Instead, Bowser said the advisory is intended to be a tool to help private institutions manage travelers.

Hotels, universities, employers, houses of worship and other similar private enterprises will be allowed to ask visitors about their travel and require proof of a negative COVID-19 test."

Travel to Virginia 1 way, book a ticket from Virginia to DC?

Most people wouldn't fly into DCA (Reagan National) anyway. That is the airport in Washington, and the only reason it is still there is because it is convenient for Congress to get out of town quickly after sessions.

Majority of flights into this area will be into BWI (Maryland) or Dulles (IAD -Virginia)

So most of you won't need to worry about that. I wouldn't put it past DCA to try to manage some sort of enforcement that week though.

DCA isn't even in DC, it's in Virgina. Don't worry and show up!

I know it’s off-topic, but has anyone flown into Hartford/Bradley International? Do they actually enforce any of the stupid rules there or not?
