Don't know any ideological test here except don't be a fucking Doomer. That's not really a ideological purity thing, but more a it brings down motivation and thus hurts the cause thing.
I see it happening the most in the comments of edgy posts. Sometimes it can get mixed in with dooming, but yeah I agree that those are different issues altogether.
