I was thinking about this the other day how President Trump probably feels more confident negotiating with the Democrats because he can push their buttons. However, with McConnel it is tougher but still possible to leverage the RINOs in some circumstances.
From what I gather I think President Trump wants to ensure another impeachment hoax doesn't materialize so securing the Senate makes logical sense from that point of view by acting as a layer of protection.
Good point, I somehow left out impeachment and those idiots would probably try it again. I just wonder if they could get enough votes even in a slim majority D Senate
