"The church" isn't a monolith. Mainline denominations like Methodists and Presbyterians haven't been within basic Biblical orthodoxy for close to 100 years, and many of the large popular churches preach the prosperity gospel, which is not found in the Bible.
There are also the hipster pastors, with a handful who have very large congregations, and then there are the many other hipster pastors who idolize and try to copy them, and they aren't too grounded in the Bible either, try to fit into culture too much.
Still, there are some large churches and many smaller ones that still follow the Bible, but it certainly isn't the majority of churches.
What I don't see, hubumoppet, is any evidence that you're actually doing anything about it IRL. Tell us also about your qualifications to declare the "true Gospel". We're all just aching to hear your dissertation(s). There are some of us here who want to know more about the Paraclete. There are some of us here who want to know more about realizing "the true Gospel" in the here and now. Got any references you want to share with us from say, Karl Barth or Dietrich Bonhoeffer? Could you give us a quick synopsis about the meaning of your "true Gospel"?
So, EvanGRogers, you don't go to Church but you're pleading for someone to support the Church? Okay. What Church? How will YOU support that Church? And how is it that you are so bravely disobedient of the elected governor? When did you face arrest and trial? What have you done... at all?
