A veto wouldn't have done shit. They would've overriden it. And evictions would've happened sooner.

And the Government would have shut down, costing millions, all for nothing, because, as you pointed out, they would have over ridden his veto.

The party responsible for this travesty is both parties in Congress. From beginning to end.

That, and I have a feeling Trump probably has some secret shit up his sleeve in case Congress denies his requests (let's be real, he definitely thought of that scenario due to dealing with these fuckers for years). Otherwise he wouldn't have said "good news" about the bill before committing this action, nor would he have redline and invoked the Impoundment act.

The Impoundment act delays disbursement for 45 days, with Congress deciding whether or not to agree to his request.

His options weren't good here. He made the best lemonade he could out of the lemons he was handed.

No. If the Congress doesn't approve President Trumps's request (they won't), then the money is disbursed after 45 days, no signature required, since the President already signed the bill into law.

Biden doesn't enter the picture.

Bullshit. He’s framing the signing as a positive thing when in reality he was played by congress just like every other president before him.

He was handed a shot sandwich and turned around and is making Congress eat it.

I love what he did. Brilliant. Alternatively I would have enjoyed hearing that he wiped his ass with it. The people that signed it should all be arrested for treason.

Burn it and dump the ashes on Piglosi's desk.

Pocket veto. Hold on to that shit as long as possible.

Look, $600 bucks is what we will end up with and all the pork will not be removed. All the PPP bullshit could be fixed by opening for business.

The bottom line is, he has fallen for this common cold nonsense and believes we should be locked down, thereby needing to pass this horseshit bill to help Americans.

You wanta help Americans? Let them be Americans. M

Yup, there was no reason to sign it. Who cares if they ovride his veto, let them. We have been waiting expectantly for crap to happen since November 3rd and nothing has turned in favor of Trump. I'm tired of sitting back, I do not believe in following blindly and neither did our founding fathers. They acted against injustice and unless we organize and stand nothing will happen. Going to D.C on the 6th may be a great start, go make a stand if its flooded with patriots then maybe something will change. All who want to call people doomers for viewing things pragmatically get bent. It is time for preparing for what is coming and not sitting back and "trusting the plan". I truly hope things can turn around but I will not stop preparing for what is more than likely coming.
