Every time someone asks me, "Do you still think Trump is gonna get sworn in on Jan. 20th?" I say, "Yes." They look at me like I'm crazy.
By the end of the conversation, they are relieved, because all they have heard is mainstream news sources on whats going on. The 6th is the line in the sand for him. Which means I think he knows that it will be resolved on the 6th, and not a day or 2 later.
If Trump had given up on us, he could have said screw it and just sign the COVID bill. He hasn't and that is an encouraging thought.

It is the same here. They can't believe I still believe. I hit them with news and it is always the same response - a huge surprise and disbelief. You explain and hope they look it up for themselves.

People are absurdly complacent, I still see people on Facebook and YouTube and such commenting like "we need an alternative platform" and I"m like "how do you still not know that Parler, Rumble, TDW, etc exist?!" Then I get some nonsense about there not being enough people there or something and well "how busy do you think Facebook and YouTube were when starting out? If you want another platform to take off you and your friends need to start using it dammit!"

Well I'm not on those sites...
I do think and hope by stating facts it gives people something to think about and if they do search for a source they will find other sites.
My mother finally asks what "my sources" say about stuff but hasn't yet started searching on her own.
