I’m willing to accept as fact that this ailment is the result of whatever virus was released from the Chinese bioweapons lab in Wuhan.

Your mind is also a powerful thing. If you’re convinced or anxious about wuflu and believe it impacts taste and smell then your own brain can and will literally create that sensation per your expectations.

Smell and taste itself are relative experiences if you taste or smell the same things long enough then you no longer detect them. Those farts aren’t disappearing in a short minute your nose just gets used to the poo particles.

I thought we all agreed we weren't going to talk about the poo particles: we were just going to say that it was hydrogen sulfide, and forget the primary means of olfactory function. It makes it difficult to "forget" if we keep mentioning it.
