My wife is a nurse they all hate the hell out of their jobs. Know why I know this is fake? They are smiling, smiling is the last thing these over worked nurses do at work. They spend most of their day complaining about their patients and coworkers trust me I hear it every day. Most nurses absolutely hate each other, the last thing they want to do is dance on tik tok with coworkers they likely despise.

Can confirm. My wife is an ICU nurse. She has nothing but COVID patients that are horribly sick/on ventilators. Granted the 1% of the population that is the worst of the worst lands in the ICU, so its expected. Every week some people die, but again that does happen in an ICU. She is almost always busy and takes on more patients than they normally have to, especially right now cuz of COVID.

She hates her job 70% of the time... as everyone in there is either really sick so its sad, or they are just shitty people with asshole families to deal with. All of the other nurses also hate their jobs, so half of them hate the other half by default and gossip about one another. The very few men nurses tend to stay out of the gossip/drama, but most female nurses just cant seem to help themselves lol.

With that being said... the last floor she used to work on (which was a more of a specialty floor) was wayyy less work. She would have plenty of downtime most shifts where the nurses could sit around and chill, gossip, play on phones, online shop, make dumb ass tik tok videos while all of their patients were sleeping.

Basically most floors (outside of ER and ICU) aren't all that busy normally... and now due to COVID they are basically ghost towns.

These nurses doing these dumbass Tik Tok videos are probably on a floor that isn't very busy and doesn't take in COVID patients. Then they go home and virtue signal on social media about how awesome they are because they are a nurse and how crazy COVID is and how they've seen how horrible COVID is... when in reality they've probably never truly treated a severe COVID patient.
