Isn't there an incubation period before symptoms show? Meaning the both of them may have gotten the virus from elsewhere around the same time and not necessarily a case of presymptomatic spread.
Anything is possible, but the one who got it first had symptoms Sat night. Got tested Sunday. Got results Tuesday night. Others started getting symptoms on Thursday through Sunday. It is possible that my daughter got it from others on the Monday, but they were presymptomatic at that point too. And their interactions were shorter. The bus is most likely because they were on it for 7 hours with no open windows. Also, the teammate who had it first was one of only four teammates who had been at a big event the day before, which may have been where she got it. The others were being very careful to not get exposed to anything because they didn't want to miss the competition on Saturday.
