I know a lot of dancers who are in their prime and their careers are ruined. They sacrificed everything only to be mocked by these asswipes. There are students in my community who have worked to get into pre-professional programs only to have those programs ended before they can get there. What does CNN do when Broadway is shut down? Air this crap.

The real live performing arts have been completely destroyed for the exact reason they promote this shit.

It ruins the culture. It saps the energy of community. Ruining the art.

Art is always destroyed in the revolution. I hope we destroy all of theirs ten thousand times over when we win.

I have a dancewear store in Illinois. Most dance studios are closed, theaters are closed, not high school dance teams or school plays. I do not appreciate this crap on so many levels. Not to mention how crappy they dance.

When we destroy theirs, no one will care, because it is mostly garbage.

Something to keep in mind:

A dancer’s career is usually “over,” by age 35. A fully year with no work is a huge deal.

Also, until these people put on a production of “The Nutcracker,” they’re not really dancers, so much as people who have a vague sense of bodily movement and rhythm.

Thanks for this - I'm a professional ballet dancer myself and my career has been effectively put on hold for the past year. Luckily I have a job waiting for me once things begin to settle, but knowing that many other dancers have been forced into retirement is seriously disheartening.

I own a dancewear store now as I am retired from dance. It makes me sick to see all the sacrifice young dancers have made especially those who have gotten into pre professional programs just to see everything fall apart. My brother works for Cirque in Vegas. He is a construction foreman for one of their shows. He has been out of wok since this began and the Cirque shows are so expensive to run that he doesn't know when they will be up again.

Encouraged by the media. They want you divided. Some people are essential, other people are non-essential.

Four legs good, two legs bad

As much as everyone talks about 1984 and fascism/authoritarians taking over, our decline was much more for shadowed by animal farm, which was specifically written about communism’s insidious nature.

Nurses good, dancers bad. Jobs that require degrees good, jobs that don’t, bad.

All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.

Unfortunately, this is not the place to look for appreciation of the arts. Many of our peers can't disentangle "progressive culture" and artistic expression.

Of course you wouldn't value physical exertion, with your sextuple-wide ass.

...Don't look at me, you're the one who said you have six asses.
