You don't want an answer that is incongruent to your line of thinking. You want me to answer you knowing how your argument is apples and oranges. A nurse is stuck in a building all day. A cop is within his entire community. Your argument loses validity when you make the comparison of a nurse at a hospital, where she always would be, compared to a cop on a specific job, where his dispatcher has told him to go.

Remember kid, you told me to get a grip first. So, the only one that needs convincing here is you. I did not tell strangers on a forum to "get a grip." I am in California, we are supposed to be "completely locked down." Going to the hospitals locally here (north SF) They are not any more busy than they are any other time of year. If they were busy, they wouldn't have time for full ppe tik tok videos.

Ok, let's use a better example - mayors voting for more lock downs and then going to the very restaurants they are making the rules against? Fair comparison? If not, please fill me in on a better line of thinking that is acceptable and comparable to your view point.

Mayors going out to eat is a totally different example because that's not their job. They're breaking with their own protocol. Nurses in a hospital have no choice but to be within spitting distance of each other all day at their job.

And calling me kid just shows me you're the one with the chip on your shoulder. In before: "no one said anything about a chip" because you're so damn literal apparently.

Their job is to protect the public. They make rules that protect the public... then they go and break those rules. Are you seriously arguing if a mayor/governor doesn't follow their own rules isnt bad for optics? As I am arguing... Mind you, I think everyone should be able to do whatever the fuck they want to do.... I am not the one saying wearing a mask and don't go out to eat. And then Doing it.

You are ruthlessly fighting this because your boyfriend is a nurse. I get it. But admit you can't say they are blowing off steam while wearing full ppe, then complaining about wearing full ppe, then knowing that we paid for that ppe, that they now wasted, then they say they don't have enough ppe (lies). It is bad for optics. Fuck you and fuck your boyfriend. You aren't special. Stop lying to the public that the hospitals are any more overcrowded then they are any other flu season.
