You are 100% correct, except for the last line.

A "government shutdown" only shuts down non-essential beaurcracies etc. It doesnt shut down Congress itself, nor the ability for Congress to meet.

Shutting down the government now is actually not a bad idea when it comes to draining the swamp, and dealing a fatal blow to those traitors infesting Washington DC.

I hate this argument. We're always being told to accept the pork because of the kids, because of the military, etc etc.

Big fat NO!

I feel like I'm in the first car of a roller coaster after eating a pot of chili and I can't get off. These are hard times waiting to see if he can pull this off. He is smart and I believe in him but I want to see these politicians on Guantanamo Bay

Well said. Sad to see so many doubters.

A lot of people here are confusing the impound act with line item veto. Dumb.

Instead, just trust DJT and let him make the deals he needs to make. He is out best and only hope, to lose faith now or restrict his options is really, really dumb.

it tough -- he's in a very tough position and there is a possibility he cant pull it off because he has a LOT of people in the establishment that just want to do what their collogues want rather than what is right. In their feeble minds, he's bad so what they're doing is right. They do not seem to understand the long-term effects this fake election is going to have -- even on them. They feel like they can do this because they're powerful enough to do so, and the rest will sort itself out. the ONLY way this kind of shit stops is if the middle class truly rises up -- Jan 6 is DDay

No he didn't. It is a delay of 45 days and congress can simply choose to ignore him and after 45 days the whole $$$ clears, especially the Pakistan gender studies money
