Seat belts shouldn't be required to begin with. Manufacturers should be mandated to install them, and people should use them, but you shouldn't get a ticket for not wearing one.
There are times when I drive no more than 1000 feet, where the act of putting on and taking off of the seatbelt takes longer than actually driving, and I would not wear one if there weren't cops parked along the short route.
I really expected factions to come out of this whole mask wearing business, and I'm really surprised that they haven't shown up yet.
I expected the Karens to evolve from "put on a damn mask" to "that mask it doesn't meet the new requirements" and the new requirements are something like:
Must cover exactly 17.3 square inches of the face.
Must also cover forehead.
Eyes may only be exposed if wearing safety glasses.
And just to thwart the people that try to get away with wearing gaitors and scarves
Must have a fastening mechanism that loops behind ears. NO EXCEPTIONS.
