Yeah, things kind of lost momentum...I don't even know if there's any suits pending right now that would impact things. People label you a 'doomer' or whatever, but objectively I don't see anything that is going to flip this. They had hearing after hearing, but then no suits came out of it that would actually impact the election results. We stopped needing more evidence almost a month ago, there's enough. They needed to get this to the SCOTUS on a state by state basis, but they just sort of...wandered...off of that. Unless some other suit gets filed and gets an emergency hearing, January 6 Biden gets the votes. Pence can't pick & choose unless there's a challenge in both chambers AND both chambers pass it with a simple majority.
There is no state by state vote, unless neither candidate got to a majority. In which case THEN you could flip it with each state getting one vote. The problem is you're not getting a majority to vote for the challenge, in either chamber.
I agree! The EC vote thing is not a very good plan. We all know the Republicans will screw Trump. If anyone is expecting something different they are in for a punch in the face!
Pence counts. If there are two slates from one state(s) Pence chooses which to count or not to count that state(s). If neither candidate gets beyond 270 votes then you get the contingent election where each state's reps vote en banc.
I think people are overconfident on what will happen that day. ALOT needs to happen to force a contingent house election.

There must be one rep and one senator who object to the “official” slate to force a vote.
Pence chooses if they have the simple majority in both chambers. They will not.
