We are living in extraordinary times, and they are such because we are being given a narrow window of opportunity as a nation.
Through incrementalism and non-stop media programming, our nation has strayed so very far from the principle under which it was founded;
One Nation, Under GOD.
If you have a moment, look up Goerge Washington's inaugural address. And you will clearly see just how far we have deviated.
God is a just God. He rebukes and then gives a chance, that narrow window, for the people to turn to spiritual revivlval. Not political infighting, but turning to Him.
He has given us a glimpse as to what is coming, should we refuse to obey Him. He has also shown us the contrasting just government He will continue with, should we follow after Him in word and deed.
If we, as a nation, do not bend our knees to God in the coming weeks and repent for failing to follow His 10 rules, destruction will come.
It really is that simple.
God did give us talents, including spiritual ears to hear and eyes to see.
We cannot kill our way into God's glory. That idea came from Augustine in the 5th century, and has been a travesty.
If we, the body of the nation, repent, he will appoint a godly head for the body.
By acknowledging how far we have fallen, and turning back to God as our true, eternal leader, He will lift the whole of our nation up, to be an example to the world.
