My grandmother has been locked up by Gavin Newsom this whole time. She’s in her late 90’s and isn’t as sharp as she used to be, it’s hard for her to even remember why she’s being isolated. My mother is a nurse, but even though she’s a trained professional, they won’t let her see her own mother. The last phone call we had was spent consoling her while she cried, promising we’ll see her again, that this will all end and she’ll have a chance to see her family again.
I’m afraid of ending up like this girl on the comic, but every day that passes makes it feel that much closer to happening

Are you guys able to remove her from the nursing home and bring her home? Surely they can’t just hold her hostage.
We’ve asked all the nursing homes around within our budget, they all are citing state edict as to why they won’t break covid rules.
We’ve even considered moving her to a hotel and just take care of her ourselves, but with her medical conditions anything is risky without 24/7 care.
