My mother in law passed at the beginning of August. We could only visit her through a fucking window starting in March. When she needed to be transferred from an assisted/senior living facility to a nursing home (for "pt/rehab", but we knew what that was going to lead to), that was the one time that we could see her, give her a hug, or whatever. Only because we had to move her ourselves - neither facility would provide the transport. Then it was back to seeing her like an animal at the zoo - through a window pane on speaker phone.

It didn't affect me nearly as much as my wife, but this is still infuriating. I hope these attention whoring tick tock nurses get to experience what my wife did.
