It was drafted after thousands of years of tyranny and despotism around the world. Written and ratified as the grandest thought experiment in the world. Self governance, natural rights from God, rule of the majoritybwoth protections for the minority. A system designed to gridlock and make compromise the grease in the wheels. Not perfect, but fluid, designed to be able to age and grow with the people it was drafted to guide and protect. Its greatest strengths are its greatest weaknesses. The idea that it's some old dust document that can be changed or ignored at will is insulting. The constitution is barely out of its infancy. To calm it an outdated document is anti american propaganda. Its despicable. Anti establishment constitutinlonalism is the way of America's future.

Lol, fuck no. Natural rights came out of an atheistic rationalist age known as the “enlightenment.” “Natural” rights are nonsense because it confuses the sacred (where rights come from) and the profane (natural). The constitution was a product of its time and we left the rationalist age over 100 years ago. We’re in postmodern times now. That’s why the Supreme Court turned down the Texas case.
