Included in the repercussions of this ought to be administrators and teachers losing their jobs. THAT is the way to stop this bullshit from spreading any more.

As much as the right hates cancel culture I really have no problem myself using it against the left in retaliation. It's very clear that trying to always be the nicer people is not working out for us.

I don't consider being fired over this cancel culture.

You're an IT manager, you are upgrading networking equipment. The age old saying "nobody ever got fired for going Cisco". But you went another direction, and the ramifications of it got you fired. I view this the same way, the teachers/admin are implementing something that should have never happened and is outright hostile socially. This isnt cancel culture and they should be fired.
