You can spot them, they make an appeal to you, then try to persuade you to do something against your interest. Shit I'm seeing:

• "I don't want us to discredit ourselves by citing ____ as a source."

• "I don't want us to discredit ourselves with stupid conspiracy theories"

• "There's so many doomers and shills here, I'm going to stop visiting."

• "The glowies want you to do that, so don't do that."

• "I was very skeptical about the vaccine, but I decided to take it anyway."

• "I've been in this from the beginning, but DOOOOM."

Think logically about this stuff when you read it, peeps. Stick to your guns and stay in the fight!!!
