On the Exclusion Criteria in Section 5.3, they list that individuals with a history of auto-immune disease were excluded.
They list 'Phase 1 Only', so I don't understand if those individuals were only excluded from phase 1? Or also other phases?
They also list that they excluded people who had a clinical diagnosis for covid as well. Meaning if you have had covid, you are the guinea pig if you take the vx (if I'm reading if correctly).

Not necessarily. If you wanted to test the efficacy of a vax in non-prior infected populations, you would necessarily need non-infected people. People who recovered could be immune because the vaccine or because of their natural antibodies.
