Every single person in this site, and across all of America and the rest of the no-longer-free-world gets to be a doomer on Jan 7th if nothing happened the day before. Because we will actually be doomed.
Until that point it just pisses me off. We have an exact date, it's not even that far away, it was just enough warning to be sure that anyone who wanted to could get there by car. Things happen on or before that date, or we make them happen.
Dooming now is just an expression of cowardice from those who have no intention of going or doing anything themselves.

If nothing happens on the 6th, Jan 21st would pretty meaningless.
I don't think that 'nothing' is going to happen on the 6th.
It has taken 115 days to resolve elections in the past.
